The Fall of Thriving 

Group training registration now open!

Our Approach

From September to the end of November the Mabry Academy will take players through a 12 week performance enhancement program designed to positively impact their life on and off the field. Players will have the option to choose from 1-2 nights a week. Our 12-week mental performance and wellness curriculum will be conducted on Sundays at 8pm every week over zoom. Players will receive a thorough speed assessment through our partners at Universal Speed Rating. In addition, players will be getting a 12 week Strength & Mobility program to use throughout the Fall season.

The Fall of Thriving is a Mabry Academy program designed for athletes who are committed to becoming the best person and player they can be. Led by President Michael Mabry and Vice President Casey O'Neill. Players will have the option of choosing 12 or 24 indoor training sessions focused on positional mastery.

At the core of this process is our Mental Performance program which is led by Director, Alec Wortman. Coach Alec will lead the students through our Five to Thrive Wellness program via weekly zoom calls. The virtual component of this program is available to all athletes in middle school or high school!

Dates & TimeS
For Virginia:

Sessions in Virginia will be held at the Michael & Son Sportsplex in Sterling. The sessions will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday of the Fall except for the week of Thanksgiving. 

 

High School and Middle School Attack will train at the same time each week (5:40-6:40pm) but will be separated during training. High school and Middle school Midfield will train at the same time each week (6:45-7:45pm) but will be separated during training. H.S. and M.S. Defense will train at the same time each week (7:50-8:50pm) but will be separated during the training.

Sessions are on the following dates:

9/5, 9/6, 9/12, 9/13, 9/19, 9/20, 9/26, 9/27

10/3, 10/4, 10/10, 10/11, 10/17, 10/18, 10/24, 10/25, 10/31, 11/1, 11/7, 11/8, 11/14, 11/15, 11/28, 11/29

Sessions in Maryland will be held at the Michael & Son Sportsplex in Rockville. The sessions will be held every Monday and Wednesday of the Fall except for the week of Thanksgiving. 

 

High School and Middle School Attack will train at the same time each week (5:00-6:00pm) but will be separated during training. High school and Middle school Midfield will train at the same time each week (6:00-7:00pm) but will be separated during training. High school and Middle school Defense will train at the same time each week (7:00-8:00pm) but will be separated during the training.

EquipMENT NEEDED:

Helmets, gloves, stick, water and cleats.

Mental Wellness & Lifestyle Coaching Only

Students who register for virtual sessions only will receive access to our weekly live sessions, recordings, PDF's and 12 Week Strength & Mobility program. 

​

The Fall of Thriving curriculum is designed to empower young people to make decisions for themselves that lead to a healthier and more vibrant life! These daily decisions will compound and allow our athletes to experience heightened performance on and off the field. Our program has the power to have a massive positive impact!
